Security Level Tasks taken for Backup/Recovery Procedures
Level 4
Valuable
  • Rotate a months worth of MASTER Backups (Local)
  • Rotate a couple days worth of MASTER Backups (Remote)
  • Rotate a weeks worth of INCREMENTAL Backups (Remote)
  • Create RESCUE-RANGER bootable media
  • Test RESCUE-RANGER bootable media once a month
  • Have more than one backup device
Level 3
Important
  • Rotate a weeks worth of MASTER Backups (Local)
  • Rotate a couple days worth of MASTER Backups (Remote)
  • Rotate a weeks worth of INCREMENTAL Backups (Remote)
  • Create RESCUE-RANGER bootable media
  • Test RESCUE-RANGER bootable media twice a month
